Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- As long as mankind aspires after anti-imperialist independence, a fair and just new world will surely be built, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an article.
The world is now in the era of extreme chaos and radical changes, the article says, adding that threat and blackmail, confrontation and armed conflict are rampant and the danger of a nuclear war is increasing.
It goes on:
The imperialists are openly pursuing adventurous confrontation and war of driving the planet into danger to reverse the world trend of multi-polarization, an inevitable result of the development of history, and to maintain their hegemonic position at any cost.
But the trend of the times toward progress can never be reversed. The advance of mankind toward the building of a fair and just new world is accelerating despite the threat and blackmail and the worst danger of war.
The colonial era of imperialism collapsed rapidly and a new history in which the people of each country are responsible for their destiny and pioneer it has ushered in.
Though the U.S. and Western countries are running wild, the aspiration of mankind to build a fair and just new world based on the idea of anti-imperialist independence is growing stronger in different parts of the world.
Amid the ever-growing spirit of anti-imperialist independence, the imperialists' doctrine of strength-almighty is being smashed and the system of their domination is rapidly collapsing.
The role of various multilateral cooperation bodies, including the BRICS, Eurasia Economic Union and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, is enhancing day by day. Anti-imperialist independent countries are boosting mutual cooperation in political, economic, military and other fields to cope with the moves of the U.S. and Western countries to ignite a nuclear war.
As history and reality prove, anti-imperialist independence entirely means justice, strength, victory and future.
A beautiful new world aspired by mankind is sure to be built when advancing under the uplifted banner of anti-imperialist independence. -0-
